Thursday June 20th:

Can I suggest that we use the first half of the setlist for Gillingstool for Thursday this week, and then have request time.  Then use the second half of the setlist for the week after, prior to the gig.  Any special requests, please feel free to just send them out to the rest of us.

All the best,

Thursday June 13th:

The wedding next week. Let’s knock ‘em dead with lots more Ukeaholics Showstoppers. See you all Thursday.

Looking forward to the gig on Saturday but as Stan has mentioned in his email,  on Thursday at the Wheatsheaf we should focus on the wedding set list to ensure our performance is spot on.

Thursday 2nd May:

After a familiar song to warm up, it will be helpful if we practise some of the songs listed in my email, in particular, the Cockney medley. Steve and I will bring folders to both the gig and the Thursday night Wheatsheaf session.

Thursday 25th April:

Any suggestions for a setlist for tonight?

Thursday 18th April:

See set list sent by Chris in preparation for our surprise birthday 'girl'!

 Thursday 21st March:

Following on from Stan's list last week, to go towards a sing along set to be used at Windmill House and similar venues, I have been thinking along the same lines for a while and have gathered seven more songs of the same era to have a go at this week. (see below).
A few more songs needed from our repertoire, (not necessarily oldies like these) to complete the evening. Suggestions please, or perhaps practice again some of the new ones from last week.

  • If You Were The Only Girl In The World
  • Underneath The Arches
  • By the Light of the Silvery Moon

My suggestion is to steer clear of anything we have practiced to death recently or played in the gigs, apart from the extended version of 'Picture of You', and to have a complete change of music this week.
